Despite adequate support and infrastructure, special needs people and persons with disability are not able to fully integrate into society because of the prejudice that may be held by neurotypical persons without disability.

Greenhouse Programme is a service-learning curriculum that allows neurotypical kids without disability to be exposed to and learn about those with disabilities and special needs. Service-learning is an educational approach that combines academic teaching with student initiated community projects and reflection. It aims to help change the perception of special needs and disabilities through building empathy and deeper understanding in people from a young age.
